The Titanium version, though, settles in nicely to what I think is almost the perfect sweet-spot for a pen like this. Heavier than aluminum, but lighter than stainless. Substantial, but svelte. Robust and refined. A great balance of weight and comfort. In my opinion, Titanium is the only way to go with the Schon pen if you’re looking to step out from the lowest-end aluminum entry.

The BN Works Twiist is a beautifully-constructed pen with gorgeous contrasting colors and a subtle matte texture that's as nice to hold as it is to look at.
All-in-all, I think this pen is great. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it's a beautiful pen that handles well and offers great refill compatibility. I'd like to see a version 2 with a higher-end stylus tip that isn't the standard rubber type seen on this version. But for casual users or those looking to mark-up a PDF on a touch-device on-the-go, I think this pen makes a compelling choice.

In this video, I'm taking a look at the Ti Pocket Pro from BigiDesign. These Kickstarter veterans and EDC masterminds have created almost the perfect EDC pocket pen, in my opinion with Grade 5 Titanium construction, a unique collet system to eliminate tip wobble and compatibility with 80 refills.

Make no mistake, the packaging on this pen is absolutely stunning and (almost) every detail has been attended to from the typography to the foam cutout.
Given that this pen is significantly more expensive than similarly-sized counterparts from other manufacturers and considering they are using more in-house parts and also taking into account that this pen can't be carried in a pocket but is designed for "desk use," I can't recommend this pen at all. It's jewelry for your desk more so than a pen that's made to be used the way a pen is made to be used. There are a lot of desk pen options out there so at $90, this one is a no-go.

The Baughb Labs Pen (V.1.2) is clean, comfortable and nearly seamless when the tip is deployed for writing. Unfortunately, I left the "b" off of "Baughb" on my doodle. Because I'm an idiot. Sorry Robert! Hopefully you find the humor in my edit.
In my opinion, at an entry price of right at $50 USD, this one’s a no-brainer if you like minimalist pens. I think if Robert could give me a stainless version for a few bucks more, I’d be 100% in love. The mechanism is perfectly integrated, the seamless, functional design is clean and comfortable and these babies are made right here in the USA, which y’all know is a big deal for me. Visit Robert at BaughbLabs.com and check out his work. You’ll be glad you did.
